That doesn't help test the machine on a wide range of devices though. Think about it - who participates in most betas? Gamers, with their fancy rigs. They do that to get a variety of different hardware ranges.
Well, I mean like the little program that Blizzard makes you run on your computer, which reports hardware specs with the beta application. They do have a better chance probably since there is a smaller pool in which to draw from. Yeah they asked hardware questions, my friend told me she got selected cause she is a better gamer and I said no you got selected because they were like OHHH an actual girl!?!?!? shes in! haha Was there a hardware analysis/survey along with the signups? That could have something to do with the selection criteria.
